Investment Strategy
- The Fund gains exposure to the global commodity markets through purchases of commodity equities and commodity futures-linked investments. The Fund invests in equities of companies that are principally engaged in the production and distribution of commodities and commodity-related products. Also, the Fund invests in commodity futures-linked investments, which are derivative instruments that allow access to a diversified portfolio of commodities without committing substantial amounts of capital. The Fund then invests its remaining cash in Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities ("TIPS") and other high credit quality fixed income securities. The Fund does not invest in physical commodities.
